Vintage Photo Series – Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood

Retro image number four of our series of vintage black and white images relates again to my beloved Palm Springs, California and to one of the most gorgeous but ultimately tragic of film star unions – that of Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood, frequent visitors to the area.

Strikingly good looks and immense style are the key ingredients here which coupled with the destination’s laid back image, is for me, a perfect partnership.  Just one of the many vintage images from The William Anderson Photo Collection, shown here courtesy of Bob Bogard, Palm Springs Art Museum. Gifted by Dorothy Anderson, the photograph was taken in 1957.  This second shot, below, appears to have been taken at the same time.
