The View From The Shard at Night

The Shard View

With only hours to go until the opening of The View From The Shard, we thought we’d share these great night-time images with you.   Taken by Nick Cowell, General Manager of the nearby London Bridge Hotel, he has followed the progress of The Shard from the planning stages to its completion and strongly believes that Europe’s tallest skyscraper will revitalise the area surrounding his hotel now known as London Bridge Quarter.

Having now visited by day and by night, Nick feels that the view moves into a totally new dimension as the sun sets, which he experienced at a pre-opening Team London Bridge event recently. Seeing these images, we agree with him!

View from The Shard

Enjoy the great views for yourself.   Book tickets directly from The View from The Shard or via London Bridge Hotel’s website.  Once back on terra firma, Nick suggests you might like to visit Quarter Bar & Lounge for a ‘Shard-Ini’, created in honour of The Shard by Head Barman Carlo Pallone.  Chin Chin.
