Stormy Lyon

Two of my favourite photographs, I love how the inevitability of the storm dramatically changes the mood of each picture. The power of nature overcomes the images, changing the colours for that short period of time, where the stormy, blackened sky and the sudden blaze of light seem almost impossible – that moment was captured perfectly in both of these images.

The above image was taken in Lyon, in the region of Rhône Alpes, France and shows the pretty River Saône winding through the historical buildings. The below image was taken at the Viceroy Riviera Maya, in the Riviera Maya in Mexico from the resorts private beach.
