Santa Monica all set to GLOW this September

Glow Santa Monica

GLOW is back in sunny Santa Monica,  September 28th this year, following the glowing success stories from the trendy art festivals’ visit in 2008 and 2010 (couldn’t help myself there).

Glow Santa Monica

So what is Glow? It’s an all night, dusk-and-beyond event featuring stunning works of international, national and local artists. It is the first all-night art event in the USA that emphasises the commissioning of original art work especially for the event – oh and did I mention it is free?

Glow Santa Monica The works encourage active audience engagement and exploration, they add an extra ‘wow’ factor for onlookers with their quirky and unexpected placement on the Santa Monica seafront.

In 2008 and 2010, Glow attracted over 150,000 people from locals to international tourists keen to get a glimpse of the action. Santa Monica is firmly on the list of top tourist destinations who welcome this unique event, from Paris and Toronto to Montreal and Rome!

This powerful mix of contemporary culture whilst looking out onto the Pacific Ocean is a wonderful experience for all. It is probably one of the only events in the world where queue’s to see an art installation form at 3 o’clock in the morning!
