The first of our views is from Fairmont Baku, Flame Towers – room 815 to be precise. With views over the Caspian Sea and historic city of Baku in Azerbaijan, we are sure that Fairmont Baku will inspire many for generations to come.
Our second view is taken from a picture perfect window at the Moulin Neuf in Le Gond Pontouvre, near Angoulême. A feast for all the senses, you can hear the ducks splashing and quacking in the morning,
Moving a little closer to home for our third view, we bring you Tower Bridge as seen from The View From The Shard, London. Having opened on the 1st February this year, The Shard has already become a popular tourist destination and photography hot spot – and who can blame them when rewarded with views like this?
When visiting Dubai you are struck by how audacious it is and our fourth view really puts this into perspective. Taken from “At The Top” of the world’s tallest building The Burj Khalifa, although this means at the top of the public area rather than the residential one (!) – at over 828 metres and more than 160 stories from this vantage point, you can see all that this sparkly city has to offer.
Our final view is of the towering, brick built Cathedral of Sainte-Cecile (sometimes referred to as the “Fortress of Faith”) with historic Pont Vieux seen here from the Hotel Mercure, really does offer that “room with a view” moment. The hotel itself is one of the few in France housed within an historic monument.
