The regeneration of a generation!

This Saturday thousands of Doctor Who fans will be glued to their TV’s for the 50th anniversary special of this home-grown science fiction phenomenon.

For 50 years The Doctor has been saving his favourite of all species – the humans – from aliens, destruction and more often than not themselves, through eleven different faces personalities and costumes. This cleaver script devise –regeneration – has led to fans always having their favourite doctor.

For me Doctor Who is social glue, love it or hate it we all have it in common. It is a British institution and one that we do so well. And love it or hate it, we have all, at one point watched it from behind the sofa pillow to eyes!

So join me and the other 5.5 million viewers this Saturday to celebrant British genius at its best!
